- What type of pricing do you offer?

We can offer different types of contracts. We are quite flexible and ready to consider your suggestions. The following are the most common options:

Fixed Price - This option is ideal if system requirements are clearly defined. We undertake development of your project at a fixed price which is quoted to you after we receive detailed system specifications from you. The project management is done by us and we select the team members. The software is delivered to you on mutually agreed date . Get quote now

Hourly Rate Variable Price Option - This option is best suited for those who need more flexibility and control on the project execution. You can select your own team members and manage the project by your self. Your project team works remotely with our high speed data transfer line. Team members submit weekly timesheets for your approval. You pay us hourly rate for each team member.

- What kind of quality control do you use?

We have a dedicated QA department responsible for reviewing and testing all our projects. We use rational rose QA tools to keep track of test case scenarios and issues.

- What sort of job descriptions/specs do you normally work from?

Obviously, the more detailed the better! Our programming staff is very competent and has a great deal of expertise. Therefore we don't require a great deal of background information. However, we would like a document which thoroughly describes the user interface, data structures, platform requirements, supported languages, sample screen images, etc. This is an iterative process and we are always able to nail down what we need by a few rounds of e-mail with the client.

- How does Offsiteteam select its software engineers?

Therefore we select our software engineers from top universities with a minimum relevant experience of 2 years, having different professional backgrounds. Good social skills and ability to communicate fluently in English are key differentiations.

- How can a customer follow up on his project?

Offsiteteam understands that successful technology projects depend on clear communication between the client and the offsite developer. Communication is especially critical for businesses wishing to reap the many benefits of offshore technology outsourcing. A strong, face-to-face client relationship helps both the client and Offsiteteam Corp. create exactly the right solution.

That's why Offsiteteam projects are delivered by a global team of resources, with 10-30% of the team members situated in the client-s local area (or can be located at the client site) and the remaining team located in an offshore development center. Development teams are supported by core technology groups that provide technical competencies on an as-needed basis. Both the onsite and offshore teams collaborate on common systems linked through our global network.

Onsite Team interacts daily with the client to:

We can submit development reports, current source code and application demos on a regular basis. We can give you ftp access to all development files to see and control the development process at any time you like. Also we make a working schedule so that a customer may see an application framework, demos and UI at the early stage of the development process. This lets you make early corrections to the design, shorten the number of design-development iterations for large and complex projects and considerably save your funds as the result. You can also suggest you own ways to monitor the process to make yourself feel confident.

- How can the payments be made?

The following forms of payment are accepted:

- How do I get started with Offsiteteam?

All you have to do is to send us your request for proposal. And if this information is sufficient, we will respond with a quote. If you have a question or concern - don't hesitate to forward it to us. Our managers are waiting for your inquiries and will reply promptly. We also suppose the best way to gain the level of confidence in each other is to have a small test project which we will complete at a discount.

- I have concerns about Intellectual Property Ownership. Who owns the final product?

Most often out customers hold the copyrights and own the final product. This is fixed in the contract.

- I see that your programmers are foreign nationals. How would we communicate with them through the course of the project? Would there be an English speaking manager assigned to us as our point of contact?

We fully understand your concerns about the quality of communications, since in fact many offshore companies don't provide it. The quality of communications usually includes fast reply time, accuracy and good English writing/speaking skills. Although our programmers are foreign nationals, they have more than sufficient English skills to do their work. They are regularly tested and have excellent reading, good writing and satisfactory English speaking skills. That means that they will fully understand specifications, write substantial source comments and prepare good technical documentation. Also we assign at least one project manager to every project that will be your primary point of contact. Every project manager speaks/writes/reads English fluently. Project managers work overtime often, ensuring prompt replies to customer e-mails.

With the advent of Internet and World Wide Web, the world of communications has changed. Internet makes people feel very close to each other when in fact they are crossed by ocean. We use Internet communication to cut down all communication costs and to utilize new teleconferencing, information and data exchange technologies. Most companies now widely use the conveniences of Internet communications.

- What sort of coverage for bug fixes and maintenance?

We will fix at no charge to you any bugs brought to our attention which deviate from the agreed on design specs. Bugs which are due to omissions in the design specs will be fixed on a T & M basis. We will be delighted to provide maintenance for all work we have done on a T & M basis.
